In Vinisce you rarely hear cars, you hear nothing, pure repose.
Reposo totale, Italians would say..Croatian word for it is TISHINA
Last year I saw some German children running through the woods and
enjoying the nature, in ripped clothes and with red cheeks. Their
father said he worked as a busy Head of a department in a city and the
children rarely go out of the city.
In Vinisce they walked bared feet and spent all their time outside. The
family said they felt the nature again.
I could never believe Vinsce is so close to Split and Trogir when
around I see goats and donkey and old fishermen cleaning their boats.
Same time it is only 15km from the second big night club in Croatia
- Aurora in famous town of Primosten, only 5km from Trogir Marina.and
18 km from Trogir.
I wish Vinisce never got discovered and it always stays quiet and calm as
it is now.
But urban plans say different, there is a hotel complex plan soon to
start.
There are rumors about a small ferry which might run on weekends from
Split to avoid ‘up the hill- down the hill’ journey through tiny roads.
Properties in Vinisce are still cheap.
It is famous for its konobas, traditional restaurants with authentic
Dalmatian cuisine where people escaping the crowd often come to dine
and rest.
People who seek peace and quiet and who like to see their children
relaxed (and same time like to be pretty near Split airport) should
have a look in this village bay with crystal sea and the most beautiful
view of the sunset.
